Monterey Road Clean Up!
On Monday, July 29th to Thursday, August 1st, the City of San Jose and Union Pacific Rail Road will be working together to clean up the Monterey corridor!
The cleanup area will be from Rancho Drive through Bernal Road. City teams and UPRR will remove litter/trash, dumping, abate encampments and remove graffiti along this corridor. Please note that this is the first in a series of coordinated cleanup events that will take place in coordination with Union Pacific Rail Road. Our City staff has been working to develop long term strategies that can reduce the blight along the corridor as this is one of our City’s gateways.
